Recognition for TOPSoccer Buddies & Girls BAYS players

TOPSoccer high school buddies and 8th Grade girls BAYS players were recognized at a DS Varsity Girls home game under the lights. What was being celebrated was bigger than the players, it was the DS Soccer community large. Commitment to the game and inclusivity for all who love it from the youngest to the oldest made it memorable for all who were a part of the recognitions.

Smiles all around for this crew of buddies!
A big thank you from a little player!
A bridge of support from the Varsity players welcoming 8th grade girls to the higher ranks!
Some of these players have been part of the DS Soccer Club for 18 consecutive seasons!

DS Varsity Soccer Clinic Draws a Crowd!

Led by the DS Varsity Soccer Girls and Boys teams, the DS Soccer Club players were invited to participate in an afternoon clinic- a good time was had by all!

DS Takes Their Shot at the Natick Fall Classic Tournament

Under perfect fall skies, the DS Soccer Club had six teams competing in the Natick Fall Classic Tournament. Teams from grades 2, 4, 5 and 7/8 enjoyed top notch competition. Two teams making it to the finals!  Congratulations to all the teams who represented the Club and the volunteers who spent their weekends coaching!! Good stuff all around.

What makes our club awesome? All the opportunities for younger players to watch, engage and be invited into the circle of Varsity athletes. Every season, BAYS teams are invited to be ball kids at the home games. It is a much anticipated invitation and for good reason-standing on the turf feels like the big time! Thanks to DS High School coaches for this ongoing partnership!

Goalie Clinic Success- Saving One Goal at a Time!

Clinics hosted throughout the fall season by Director of Coaching, Tony Rougier, were both well attended and a success in teaching players the tips of great goal keeping. All ages were up for the challenge of whatever Tony threw their way. Keep it up goalies- you have the opportunity to save the day every time you step on the field!

DS Soccer and Varsity Boys & Girls Soccer Hit the Pitch @ Gillette Stadium

What a memorable night for the DS Soccer Club and the Varsity Girls and Boys teams playing against Medfield at Gillette Stadium. Boys won 1-0 and Girls tied 3-3! Here are some pictures from the evening of some of our amazing ball boys and girls and escorts from grades 3-8 who participated in the event!

Grassroots Soccer 3v3 Tournament a Success!

A fun afternoon of soccer was had by the participants of the 3v3 Tournament to benefit Grassroots Soccer. The event included the youngest of ball boys and sideline cheers from the Pre-K-2 DS Soccer Sunday Soccer program right up to players from grades 3-12. The match ups were epic and while challenging included some light-hearted competition.

What was most impressive were the varsity captains acting as referees, but also additional players on teams that needed a leg up on their competition. It felt like the best of our soccer community coming together for a great cause! Congratulations to all who ran it and participated! Watch for it to return next year!!

DS Soccer has a TOPSoccer Program! Open to participants from any town, ages 5-15 years old.

TOPSoccer Fall 2019

We also need volunteer buddies – 8th-12th grade, to help support our athletes!! We have videotaped the training that took place and will make it available for volunteers.
