We are excited to launch The start of Dover Sherborn Academy!

In case you missed the informational sessions the recordings are below: 

Tryout Dates

All primary tryouts will take place at Marshall Field in Holliston.

  • Monday, March 16 – 5:45 PM

  • Tuesday, March 24 – 6:00 PM

  • Wednesday, March 25 – 6:00 PM

Location: Marshall Field,150 Marshall St, Holliston, MA 01746

Players may attend any of the tryout dates. Trialists will be grouped by age, and while players are welcome to come to any session, it is often helpful to attend with friends or teammates in the same age group.

Tryout Registration

All players must register for tryouts in advance using the form below:

The form allows us to organize players by age group and prepare the appropriate training groups for each session.

Please complete one form per player.

Tryout Fee

The cost to participate in the tryout is $15 per player. Payment can be made in person or venmoed to @nextstepsoccer.

Tryout Format

Each session will include:

  • Technical training exercises

  • Small-sided games

  • Open play

This format allows our staff to evaluate players in both structured training and game environments.

What to Bring

Players should bring:

  • Cleats

  • Shin guards

  • Water

Dover-Sherborn apparel is recommended but not required.

Weather Backup Location

In the event of severe weather, we have reserved indoor backup space at:

Downtown Sports, 240 Cottage Street, Franklin, MA 02038

Backup times:

  • Mondays: 6:45–8:00 PM

  • Saturdays: 5:30–8:00 PM

If a tryout needs to be moved indoors, we will communicate that update in advance.
